Welcome to History 230

History 230 explores the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany in the 1930s and Hitler's subsequent effort to eradicate Jews and other minorities from Europe.  While lectures present background and contextual information, the focus of the course is the discussion of documents, books and films that are meant to help you gain an in-depth understanding of one of the greatest atrocities in world history.
