Here's a great way to keep up with the latest cyber-developments, learn Internet basics, and keep your computer secure: the Internet Tourbus.

The Tourbus has been "driven" for at least 15 years by Bob Rankin and Patrick Douglas Crispin. It consists of two parts:

• A twice-weekly email newsletter with interesting, amusing, and helpful computer and Internet news. You can subscribe by going to the Web site.

Earn extra credit by getting "on the bus"! Here's how:

1. Visit the Tourbus Web site.
2. Subscribe by filling in the form near the bottom of the home page.
3. When you receive your first Internet Tourbus newsletter, forward it to your instructor. You will receive 1 point extra credit.
