Jason Withrow - WCC Internet Professional Program
Policies: Homework
General Homework Guidelines
- Homework is due at the beginning of class.
- Homeworks must be typed and stapled. Use one staple in the upper left hand corner.
- Print out your homework before you come to class.
- No credit is awarded for late homeworks.
- Turning in whatever you have will generally get you some points; turning in nothing results in a score of zero.
- Homeworks containing inappropriate material will receive no credit.
Coding Homeworks
- Print out the code in landscape orientation.
- Send an email with the homework URL to the appropriate submission address (typically a Yahoo account for the class).
- The homework must be hand-coded.
- No WYSIWYG editors (e.g., Dreamweaver) may be used; use of those programs results in no credit.
- Changes to the code after submission will result in no credit for the assignment
Group Assignments
- The failure of a group member to take part in required duties may result in no credit or reduced credit.
- The extent of the penalty is at the discretion of the instructor.
Academic Dishonesty
- Any incidence of academic dishonesty involving homeworks will result in automatic failure of the class.
Labs and Activities
- Labs and activities are not handed in, but their completion is monitored throughout the term and they count toward your final class grade.
