WEB 213: Overview
Web User Experience 2
In this course, students will gain experience with methods for evaluating and improving website usability and accessibility. Students will use assistive technology to better understand how users with disabilities experience websites. Students will also explore the usability and accessibility of everyday devices.
Upon successful completion of this course, students will have:
- Planned and conducted usability testing of a website, documenting the findings in a formal report
- Conducted an expert review of a website, documenting the findings in a formal report
- Performed task analyses for a transactional website, reconstructing the tasks and storyboarding the revised process
- Developed a website style guide, containing numerous interface and interaction guidelines
- Analyzed the accessibility of a website, documenting the findings in a formal report
- Researched and given a presentation on the user experience and accessibility of a device
