Welcome to History 121 and 122!

History 121 and 122 are European history survey courses offered by Washtenaw Community College. In these courses, we will explore the essential historical developments (social, political, economic, cultural and religious) in Europe and the Mediterranean from ancient times through the 19th century. In doing so, we will be sure not to lose sight of what life was really like for those who did not typically wield much power, such as women and peasants.
