Winter 2019 PREVIEW
Portfolio Seminar is a course designed to provide an unparalleled opportunity to use your motivated skills to create a professional portfolio and marketing strategy that expresses who you currently are as a photographic imagemaker. You are strongly encouraged to dig deeply into your photographic soul and image archives, as these will be used as your foundation to build on, in addition to creating some new work that supports and reinforces it. You are free to work in the genre of your choice and have full access to the black-and-white darkroom, the studio, and digital imaging lab. The guidance and feedback from the instructor is primary, however, your fellow class members will participate in the review process as well during group critique times. Emphasis will be placed on the professional presentation of the portfolio, encouraging you to query just how this body of work can ultimately serve the next step in your career path.
