Details for Part 14: Maintenance Plan

Maintenance Plan - Who will maintain the site? How will updates be made?

The Maintenance Plan is based on Part 8 of the Site Plan, the "Content Inventory", possibly with simplifications based on Part 9, the "Information Architecture".

A general introduction to this section should explain that its purpose is to provide the site owners with information they will need to keep the site up-to-date and relevant. You might also include a discussion of how to extend the site in future development phases.

For each content item or site section, this information is needed:

1. Name of item or section
2. Person or organization responsible for maintenance
3. How updates will be made, including:
   • Frequency of updating
   • Whether updating is manual or automated
   • Any notes that may be helpful

This information can be arranged in a table for easy review.
