Audience Definition - a high level description of your audience. This is the first of two audience definitions. (The other one is 6: User Needs and Task Analysis.)
Here, you will write one paragraph outlining the kinds of people you expect to serve, and the major tasks for which the Web site will help them.
Example:
Audience DefinitionGiven the primary purpose of the site, the main audiences will be citizens of Stony Creek and potential visitors from other parts of the country. Secondarily, the site will serve to remind volunteers of activities for which they have volunteered to help. |
