Creating Frames in HTML

Module W25h

For this assignment, create a Web page with two frames, titled "My Town".

• One frame should be on the left, the other on the right
• The left frame should have:
  • Title, including the name of your town and your own name
    Optional: if you like, you can put the title and your name in a third frame, across the top of the entire window (20% extra credit)
  • Table of contents, linked to the sections of the right-hand frame
• In the right-hand frame, put any five of the following sections, with content you have researched on the Web or in the local library; include at least one pictures in each section, and link to at least one outside Web site:
  • Founding of the town (date, who founded it)
  • Memorable events in the life of the town
  • Major "tourist" attractions of the town
  • Prominent businesses and industries
  • Town governance: City Hall, important people
  • Town protection: police, fire fighters, medical services
  • Something amusing about the town
  • Memorials to town heroes

When you've completed and tested your frames, put them up on your Website and test them again. Then email your URL to the instructor.
