Procedures

The purpose of this project is to get familiar with as much of the Internet and its services as possible. To do this, you'll be offered a selection of topics, and the instructor will assign one to each person in the class.

In order to make sure you get a topic in which you have some interest, you'll indicate first, second, and third choices. If there is a conflict between choices, the instructor will arbitrate.

Ideally, everybody would then present the results of their research to the class. Because of time limitations, we can't do this, so the instructor will select a few of the best, most informative presentations. Those selected will present their PowerPoint to the class for extra credit. In order to be elligible to present to the class, you'll need to submit your PowerPoint to the instructor at least one day before the class.
