Telnet Hands-On 2
Module NA42h
For this exercise, you will need to find and log in to a Unix-based
server. Use the Unix Survival Guide (module Q02cu) to help you
practice using the file listing (directory) command. List the
files in these ways:
- regular (compressed) listing
- long-form listing
- regular listing showing all files (inlcuding "hidden"
ones)
- all files beginning with the letter s (if any)
- all files whose name contains a dot (period)
Please e-mail me a log showing:
- Name of the Unix system you logged in to
- Commands you tried that worked
- Commands you tried that didn't work
- Any difficulties or problems you ran into.
