For this exercise, you will need to find and log in to a Unix-based server. Use the Unix Survival Guide (module Q02cu) to help you practice using the file listing (directory) command. List the files in these ways:

• regular (compressed) listing
• long-form listing
• regular listing showing all files (inlcuding "hidden" ones)
• all files beginning with the letter s (if any)
• all files whose name contains a dot (period)

Please e-mail me a log showing:

• Name of the Unix system you logged in to
• Commands you tried that worked
• Commands you tried that didn't work
• Any difficulties or problems you ran into.
