- RGB to Color Name Mapping (Triplet and Hex): One of the most comprehensive

- Rich Franzen's Wheel of Saturation, Intensity, and Hue: Interactive
page (Java applet) that lets you get in-depth numeric information about
any given color's hue, intensity (perceived and actual brightness) and

- Brian Hall's ColorServe: Interactive page (Java applet) to let
you choose colors from a color wheel for page background, text, and links,

- Thinking Hexadecimally: A tutorial to help you understand hexadecimal

- ColorMixers: This sophisticated system lets you choose
a base color using either a hex number or three sliders. It shows a set
of up to nine matching colors; while these appear harmonious, the theoretical
basis for selecting matching colors is not discussed here. However, it
has the very practical ability to output the color codes in hex RGB, decimal

- Web-Safe Color Visualizations: A number of pages present diagrams
of the 216 Web-safe colors in various formats.
