Objectives

When you successfully complete this lesson, you will be able to...

  4. State the duration of copyright
  5. Describe when a work enters the public domain
  6. Define trademark and its relationship to the Internet
  7. Describe issues pertaining to privacy and the Internet, including E-mail, E-commerce, Cross-reference directories, and Newsgroups.
  8. Explain Internet ethics as it applies to E-mail, spamming, inappropriate material, free speech and open communication.
