| We spent a day
exploring Canterbury cathedral, Dover Castle and
the famous White Cliffs. |

 We again visited Canterbury Cathedral, but NOT on a Sunday! |
|
 Thus, we able to take a tour of the cathedral and see the beautiful stained-glass windows. |
|
 And the incredible Gothic fan vaulting. |
 And the candle burning on the site in the chapel where Thomas Becket's shrine used to stand before it was destroyed on the orders of Henry VIII. |
 We also visited Dover Castle. |

 We toured the Great Tower. |
 And the beautiful day allowed for a great view across the English Channel toward France. |
 We also got to see the Roman lighthouse that still stands on the castle grounds. |

 The two fearless leaders! |

 Tempting fate in the wind on the walls surrounding Dover castle. |

 And we finished up our day trip on the southeast coast with the beautiful White Cliffs of Dover! |
